I did B100 for quite a while, got off it because of the price difference. After going back to #2, which was now ULSD, I immediately started a fuel leak at my fuel heater. However, with the B100, the motor ran smoother, the gas mileage didn't even drop a noticeable amount (in my truck). I was really happy with it and would suggest it to anyone....

I'd run it too if I could get it for that price. Usually it costs more than #2, Do you know why it's so cheap?

I have been wondering the same thing. Theres a place around here that sell "Biotane" its 80% #2 and 20% biodiesel. Its like 10 cents cheaper but im not sure if it will harm my pump or not. I heared bio gives good lubrication so I guess it couldent hurt.

If I could find a reliable source for it, I would run it all the time! I also want to see that price!!!!!!! I just paid $2.959/gal here in Iowa!

I run B20 about 75% of the time with great results!! Less engine rattle, mileage only dropped about .7MPG

Don't have the VP-44 but I run B40 in my 12V no problems so far, runs smoother and seems quieter

What is the name and where is this co-op located selling at 1.90 gal and what is the mix?
You might plug a fuel filter when first using it other than that it should not be a problem.

What part of IA are you in? In Mason City yesterday it was $2.69 and 6 miles west in Clear Lake it's $2.87

I havent done much research so i havent a clue on the mix but my buddy told me a couple weeks ago or so it was like 190 a gallon it may be more now but i wanna say regular diesel was around 2.50 or 260 at the time. The coop is in Pigeon which is in the thumb near bad axe or the well known caseville. Where are you from rattlerbob?

B100 just went up to 3.04/gal this week. It's a bit more than #2 but I think the lubricity and lack of fuel leaks is worth it.. Buy Buy Buy, make a demand for it!
