yeah they are im sure...but i dont understand why that is relevant. i have done the math myself and it is accurate within 1/10 of a mpg.

It's generally known that performance modes throw off the overhead mpg. Some people like my cousin thought his Ford was getting 35mpg untill He actually hand calculated it at 16mpg. Another individual on this board thought that he was geting 18mpg at 70+ but turned out to be 16. If you don't hand calculate your mileage for (several tanks) you don't know what kind of mileage per gallon your really getting.

Drive slower, no jack rabbit starts, air up your tires, some additives might help at least for 1 tank, add hydrogen, change fuel filter regularly, keep track of your mpg by hand calc so you really know what your getting, some fuel stations fuel is bad, don't haul extra weight around, reset your overhead mpg when you fuel up and watch it, if it's a higher number tipically your getting better fuel mileage. I'm on #8 dodge diesel now and have never seen 20mpg but a few rare times. All of mine have been 3500 4x4s manuals. I tryed the edge juice on my 04 and saw no improvement on any of the settings. I've also been around 7 other dodge diesels and none of them got 20mpg but on a rare occasion. When I had my hydrogen working correctly I was able to see 18 mpg for a few tanks in town pulling a trailer.

My 02 with an edge ez box got about 1.5 mpg better than stock, hand calculated. As stated above, you cant go by the overhead, they do have some effect on the for some reason.

I dont believe the 5-10 mpg better statements, hand calculated is the only way to determine mpg with programmers/boxes.
