Any alternatives to used fryer oil??

Are there any alternatives to collecting used fryer oil from the local McDonalds as the basis for fuel when making biodiesel? Just wondering, because people maynot let you have it; you know how people can be...

Any place that deep fries might have oil they'll give you. Chinese restaurants usually have high quality oil.
Need to be careful before you invest in BD equipment that you have your sources locked in. As fuel prices climb there's more competition for used oil with commercial outfits paying restaurants for their used oil and guaranteing consistent regular pickup.
