IP wire tap alternatives??
IP wire tap alternatives??
I've had the edge juice for about 5-6 months and am concerned about post on here saying it shortens the life of the vp44.
Is there a different way to hook it up w/o tapping the wire?
So far, it runs great.... (knockin on wood)

You could run it in EZ mode and throw in some sticks, but you won't have the amount of adjustability as you do now. Have you already ran it on the highest levels? If so, I would just keeping going. Mine cratered on the first 5x5 run. They say if it survives the first, you should be good to go.
The tapped wire is something you can't bet the house on. The early VP's fried quick and there are explainations why they let go...internal vane pump troubles when the wire is tapped. Later pumps seem to hold up better, did mine 2 years ago last November BUT I'm a genuine fuel treatment, fuel pressure & fuel temperature nut.
Seems to me that some bigger sticks w/EZ would accomplish the same thing and I was going to find out....now if I can get a fair chance....

Bad thing about sticks is you can't turn down the power if your truck becomes EGT challenged.

But sooner or later that ip will give up the ghost so you might as well set aside some coin for when the p0216 code comes a callin
