Since when have I claimed a consistant 25%. Or for that matter anyone on this forum. What's the point? Because it doesn't work to your specs then it doesn't work?
Maybe that's the catch you/they get 5g by saying well your vehicle didn't make the 25% according to our specs.

To each is own....
If you think it doesn't work. Think again...... The kit cost me less than $150.00 to make. In town mileage went from 18.2 to 22.8. Highway went from 22.4 to 27.7 on my 94 12 valve. Motor idles better than ever. Lower EGT's as well. Draws 8.5 amps. Using a 30 amp relay.
Tree Dr. I have sat back and watch this thread for a while. Read alot of your comments and those of others. I do think that is a room for productive research on this subject. i also think that there are some out there trying make a dollar off our ignorance and have. Having said that, I think you sincere in your quest and honest with your findings. I applause you!
Well I have read every page of this... I commented early on about the issue of filling the I/C with charged hydro but no one seems to be concerned??? I thought that this was the main reason that most recommend against using a pre-turbo propane injection systems (=bomb)... We are concerned about using a 1/2 gallon bubbler to keep an explosion contained, but we over look the massive volume of compressed hydrogen in the intake system after the turbo???
Another concern I have about hydrogen in diesels is the cylinder temps, everyone knows that if you advance the timing on diesel only you will decrease your EGT's but increase you cylinder temps, I just hope you all keep that in mind so you don't melt a piston while your EGT gauge is reading cool...
I believe hydrogen is a great form of energy and has alot of potential, but I would really hate to see a truck explode if there is potential of a back fire or a front end collosion with a I/C full of brown gas...
Keep up the work guys, but BECAREFUL!!!!!
I have a 6500w generator that was converted to propane by the previous owner... I would love to make that thing run on hydrogen and since it is already converted to run on "gases" then it should be a "simplier" mod, but I just haven't had time to look into it...

dumb question.... couldn't one simply use bottled hydrogen to verify results?
this would eliminate the hydrogen generator from the picture.
west coast, could you please post plans for your setup?
thanks for the nice pic's... any chance you could post pic's of how it connects to CTD?

I'm not trying to offend anyone but anyone can claim they get X amount increase in mpg when using some H device/set up. So why don't people prove to the world that it works instead of just making claims? Look at the fame you could make for your self and lets not for get big $$$ if you could prove a bunch of scientists wrong?
this why my proposal of using bottled hydrogen was suggested.
it would take the hydrogen generator out of the picture for repeatable results. if any.... seems the hydrogen generator veri in output depending upon who made it and design.
we would find out in a hurry if this works or not...
also don't like the idea of feeding hydrogen into a turbo (compressor) concentrations has to result.... but again don't know what effects would be? danger?
for the folks who are actually trying this.... where have you been feeding hydrogen into CTD?
a diagram would be really nice!

Read up on this guy..... http://waterpoweredcar.com/stanmeyer.html
He is no longer alive because he was found poisoned to death. And his famous dune buggy is no where to be found.
I spend enough time running from the government. I for sure don't want to invite them to my house.....
Okay lets do some math just so it all helps the understanding of the problem, I am using rounded numbers a bit but just so you get the picture.
You get 10 mpg and you want a 1 mpg improvement, sounds easy right? We are going 60 mph so we burn 6 gallons an hour.
Well you have to effectively add the equivalent power that 1/10 (6/10 per hour) of a gallon of fuel would provide (more or less). We will use Diesel fuel which on average has 130,000 BTU per gallon so we need to add 13,000 btu's of energy to the mix or 78,000 btu an hour to get the 1 mpg increase.
78,000 btu's burned per hour equal 30.627 horsepower or 22,839 watts per hour.
Hydrogen at room temperature and pressure has an energy density of .01079 mj/l (mega joule/liter) and those 22,839 watts would require 82.222 mj of energy or are you sitting down - 7620 liters of pure hydrogen or just over 2.1 liters per second from the electrolysis system.
At that rate I have no need to see if the alternator can even come close to keeping up. I am sure I rounded a few numbers but not so much that it makes the data not valid.
That must be those black helo's I am hearing because there are no Hydrogen generators on a single car from the factory. Must be a goverment thing but wait does our goverment control EVERY other one in the world?? Not going to happen just like these home made machines are not going to do much for improvement of you mpg.

Is that the sarcastic laughing smiley, or the "I know something you don't" smiley - I was halfway to one of the shop trucks with a funnel...
Makes me wonder how effective Urea pre-treatment is!
