I've noticed Diesel had jumped back-up through the roof in the past couple of days!
Anywhere from $.30-.50 cents a gallon more then gas!
Does anybody know why??? I think the oil companies are reaming us over this new ULSD that were being forced to run!

Probably this cold snap has heating oil on the rise.
Gas has jumped big time here (from ~$2.10-$2.30 in a 10 days), diesel is still holding around $2.55 or so.
I ordered 300 gallons of fuel oil on Thursday last week, I even asked the women on the phone, "Now, if you don't get out here to make this delivery until mid-next week, I am still paying TODAY's price, right"????
I'm paying $2.15 a gallon, if I had done it when I SHOULD have (three weeks ago) it would have been $2.09
Remember, they have to rape all of us for gas/diesel prices during the holidays....................

There's just no sense in that.
After about $2.75-$2.80 a gallon I become a real JERK about going pretty much anywhere. Since I don't use the truck as a daily driver, it will be sitting most of the winter if the prices get up to where they were in the spring/early summer time.

i agree with you pj. my truck usually sits all week and i drive my little 35mpg commuter to and from. however, seeing that it got totaled 2 weeks ago i am forced to drive my ctd(darn the luck, i love driving it
) until the other insurance co cuts a check and i pick up a new beater.
but, i believe that i really dont care what kind of mileage the ctd gets. what do i expect from a 7500# truck with 400+hp and 900 something #feet that can fit my entire family, safely and can put the house with me if i was so inclined. I get 22 empty on the highway and 14 towing. that is pretty great in my book.

Fuel has been around $2.67/Gal for a while now and that is with a discount card. That's down from $2.85.
When I first started driving Diesels fuel was at about .85/Gal and Gas was just over $1.00. Ahhh... The good ole days

I only fuel up at 2 stations, Shell or BP. They are both at 2.65 as of yesterday in St.Cloud Mn, thats for #2 Diesel btw, I keep seeing a pump for #1 diesel(or premium). What is so great about that?
Also I can realy tell that winter blend is in effect w/ the ULSD, my mileage is not so great.
Looks like i'll be forced to drive my 92' beater Ford back and forth to work(sadly it's a gasser)
