50/50 blend of WMO too much for VP-44??
I have recently aquired a large supply of WMO/hydro oil and am wanting to start running it in my 2002 dodge. I have several barrels that are heated to about 200 deg. for 12 hours and then allowed to settle for a few days, I then run it through a centrifuge 7 times, and then plan on mixing this with D2, and then running it back through the centrifuge before putting it in my transfer tank. My transfer tank I pump out of has 3 filters in line, 20, 10, and 2 micron. Is this going to put a lot of strain on my VP-44? any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
The VP is a pretty delicate pump that is iffy to begin with. I'm not sure I'd chance running wmo through it to save a few bucks. With what you save in fuel you may have to put towards a new pump.
