Fuel Cut Solenoid

I've got a '91 D250 2WD 5.9 LITER CUMMINS.
I need a new fuel cut solenoid, and the dealer wants $314 for it. Please, does anybody have a source for this part that is a bit more affordable? Or is there a fix for this part out there?

Thanks for the help.

Jeff

This site sells them for about $10:

Cummins isn't the only engine that used the Bosch VE.

I bought one myself, works fine. If it ever breaks, I'll just pony up the $10 and buy another one. In fact, I ought to just buy a spare.

Hey, what a great find! My dealer wanted $314!

How quick did this VW site process the order?

It's been a while, but I recall getting it quite promptly. Where do they ship from, I wonder ?

$314 must be the Government bail out price. Even Cummins does not want that price - they are somewhere around 50 to 60 bucks. Now you know why the military pays $900 for a toilet seat.
