Jeep/4bt/46rh swap
Jeep/4bt/46rh swap
A 1968 M715,46rh/205.Just picked up a set of diff's to get rid of these 5.88 gears.Went with a 60/14 bolt setup with 4:56 ratio's and disc brakes.Slow but sure.I need to swap the shells around to get the isolater to center up.2 sets of 1st gen mounts bak to back
kinda a tight fit..but it is in there.Scooted it back as far as I could. The shackles are on the ft of the spring,so under compression the diff should move forward away from the oil pan. That short radius 90 has been replaced with a cut down factory pipe. Now to pull it all back apart and get the frame blasted and painted
Will be gald to finish this thing before snow starts flying.I used 1/2" cold rolled plate. The bolt near the dipstick tube is going to need countersunk. It is hitting the starter body ever so slightly.I had to move the mount position higher to make room for the pto shaft for the winch
