Can anyone tell me if the frame with a gas engine has the same strength as a frame with a diesel? I have a 93 club cab with 12v and 5 speed. The cab is rotten so I was looking for a doner truck. I happen to get lucky and found one that was a ex gov truck used up in northern ont mines. The truck has 95000 original kms or about 60000 miles on it and has very little rust(very rare for up here) I was thinking of pulling the motor an trans out of the gas truck and installing the diesel an 5 speed. Now the front axle would also be swaped. Can this install be done or are there a diference in the two frames.Sorry forgot to mention the doner truck is a 92 w250 club cab with a 360 an auto trans with overdrive. Any help would be great. Will post pics when I start this project thanks

Frames shouldn't be different for a 92. Make sure it has the 8" frame, it is the tallest railed frame they put in the dodges '72-93 and were only in 92/93 W/D250/350 club cabs and W/D350 Single cabs.
