Yesterday I had to drive an F 650 W/ a factory CR motor in it. It was an auto. Made me start thinking what auomatic is in this thing? It was dark so I could not see much. It would make sense for Ford to use an in house transmission. I just post this because there may be factory parts to convert cummins into fords. So does anyone know what trans that could have been? i still find it funny that the higher gvw fords get a cummins to start with, it is like ford is admitting the cummins is better than the PS.
