'93 D250 driveline into '78 D200
So I reciently purchased a nice, clean, rust free '78 Dodge D200 Adventurer with the intent to swap the drivetrain over from my rusted out '93 D250.
My intent is to eliminate the electronics of the '93 since they are no longer reliable, run the trans and OD with pressure switches, and try to build an auto temp switch for the grid heater, or run it off a push button.
My question involves the front suspension. Can I use the control arms, spindles, springs, shocks and brakes of the '78, or do I need to swap over the suspenion of the '93? The donor truck has 300,000 miles, and everything would need replacement, so I'm hoping to just use whats already there.
The '78 came with a D60 with 3.54 gears, so I hope to keep the axle for now, swap the D70 later if I feel I need the extra capacity
Thanks in advance
Matthew
