4BT to Farmall 350

I have a 1957 Farmall 350 gas, she is a great tractor still but after spending most of the weekend bush hogging and buying gas, I was seriously considering converting it over to diesel.
IH originally offered the the tractor with a Continental 4cyl diesel, but those things are pretty rare, and expensive for an unknown condition core even.
Has anyone here put a 4BT in a Farmall? I can get my hands on a good used Onan gen set that has a low hours 4BT in it pretty reasonable.
Thanks.

A budy of mine put one in an old Allis, I think in a WD, but can't remember for sure. Went in well, looks good in there, just had problems keeping a clutch in it.

The clutch in mine should not be a problem as it is a double disk, the torque amplifier might be another story. Although they do make a severe duty upgrade for tractor pulling use.
