i am looking at putting a cummins into my 47 chevy 1 1/2 ton(big bolt), has any one done a similar swap?

im looking for a 94-98 dodge with a n4500 tranmission, prferably 4wd(as i will be using the entire drivetrain). this is only the planning stage of my build up and i hope to do this during the winter.

thanks! that looks alot like a 4bt? mine is a loadmaster, and i am going with a full size 6bt with a nv4500, maybe even 4wdif you could give me the sites, that would really help

 

Nope,...It's a 6 banger. I assume the I/C piping is run out in the fenderwell.

The green truck is in the D/FW area and that member actually did the conversion. He doesn't post much but you might be able to contact him through the sites PM.

wow that is really helpful!!! mine is a 1 1/2 ton with narrower frame rails.... so i probly will go with the front engine mount.
