3500 V10 Auto to 12v nv4500 Conversion - HELP

Hoping that someone with superior knowledge can give me some info or at least point me in the right direction - have just purchased a 2002 3500 Dually 4x4 with blown motor and I have my 96 Dodge Ram Auto which I converted to the NV4500 which will be the donor vehicle.

What will it take? or am I better off keeping the Auto trans.

Thanks

I'm a 1st Gen guy, but I'll throw my 2 cents in.

I think your better swapping the cummins/NV4500 over to the V10 truck....ditch the auto. Although if you really want the auto I believe, again not sure, that the V10 will bolt up to the cummins trans adapter?

You will probably need a wiring harness from a manual shifted truck...since the computer will probably not like having no reading coming from the auto transmission....again I'm unsure of this.

Other then those things the rest is mechanical and should be fairly straight forward...as long as you have some basic fab skills and are able to think outside the box....
