2011 cummins 6.7 start on ground?

I have the computer and a complete engine with gas pedal and i wanted to try to fire this cummins up out of the truck.. i got it on a motor cradle with fuel pump hooked up and i have the computer and the key that goes to the truck the motor came out of.. what else do i need to try to get this thing to start?? Anybody?? Do i need to elaborate?? Im going to put this motor in my ford

I am in the same boat. I believe you don't need the PCM, just the ECM and a way to get rid of the SKIM or whatever the security is that VIN locks it is. I believe Smarty will do that, maybe EFI Live too. Right now I have no ECU so I am probably going to get a 5.9 ECU and a 06-07 harness.

Where is the pcm located at on the truck? Under the center console?
