Who's pullin with the G56?

Just curious who is pullin with their G56, and how is it holdin up? I thought about pullin my truck a few times this year but don't know if its a good idea!

I pulled 3 times with one at ~600hp and it held fine, just make sure you have a good clutch.

Don't pull 2nd on the high side, even if the track is telling you to. With 33"s and 4.10 gears, it was the perfect pulling speed, but 4 G56's later, we gave up.

No high side for me! I was thinking 4th low side! They seem to pull decent there!

Not to hijack but is the SB 3250 ok to pull with once or twice?

Maybe, which 3250 do you have? It needs to be SFI approved, the one that was on sale for $1000 is not suitable to pull with! On the other hand the SFI approved clutch i would say would be ok for a couple of pulls(1-3) but i wouldn't get hansey!

Yeah i have heard bad things can happen when you run high side, i am kinda scared anyway, my G56 has been making some awful noises here latley, used to just make noise in 5th gear, now its making noise in 4th, 5th, and 6th, its got me worried, if it takes a dump, i'm going with the NV5600 for sure, these things just cost to much to rebuild!

I ran 2nd highrange last night. Still was geared to low going to go 5th low next time. I have heard most of the g56 failures is running 2nd high
