ive been to 30 plus pulls so far this year.

had a super farm 4020 deere almost set down on top of me and then a trailblazer while i was flagging a pull, this was the same tractor on the same run.

i was flagging another pull and seen a haisley pulling hitch completely fail and the truck almost got me, luckily the guillotine got it shutdown, 2 trucks later i seen a class 5 reese hitch almost tear completely in half, still held together though.................

seen a pro-stock chevy gas truck loose a 14 bolt chevy rearend completely at circleville about 5 years ago

a guy that pulls with us had massive driveline failure and locked up his tires and the sled slammed his BEAUTIFUL 68 ford F350 pro-stock in the rear, messed both bedsides up.

back in 2003 there was a guy we was pulling with and he was manually up shifting his 2nd Gen dodge and missed drive and hit reverse, took out the bumper, tailgate, and both bed sides.

Tinker Toy lost the back half of his frame out in indiana last week, he is a tube chassis mountain motor gas truck.

i cant think of anything else right now.

Almost forgot, local pull, hot running 1066 with a DT466. Sled gets him stopped and he throttles it down and pushes the clutch in, won't come down, goes WOT. Turning probably 4k+ with about 18" of fire coming out the stack. No air shut off, people scrambling around, at least someone had enough sense to unscrew a fuel filter before it popped. Turned the manifold red and was heading for white hot. Ran for over a minute like that.

I watched a 6.5 powered chevy a couple years ago pull a couple wheelies at tampico and break all kinds of stuff in the driveline. it was priceless.

I watched another guy in martinsville go to take off with 675 hp and it jerked so hard it almost knocked his teeth out. . it was a delayed reaction, the sled stopped............then his truck did..............then wham

At the last pull a couple of women showed up in a newer 3rd gen stick-shift... started off in the hay gear and proceeded to row down the track - man, the sled operator was PO'd! I think it knocked a few of his fillings out...

I heard she borrowed her ex's truck to feed the horses!
