What Turbo
What Turbo
What turbo do you guys think would be the best for sled pulling with my setup. Along with the upgrades in my sig. I plan to have the early twins installed on my TST and possibly see if they can customize my box to make it as hot as they can make it. If not I plan on an Edge EZ stack and a street puller clutch, and possibly a ATS 24v manifold. I also drive around 25,000 miles a year. Also I want the most bang for the buck and dont want to have to worry about blowing the new charger.
Thanks
P.S. I have also been considering the Aurora 5000. Comments are greatly appreciated.

I think the SPS66 is a great turbo and will still let you drive on the street without too much effect on spool time with a manual.
Now going bigger than that you are going to sacrifice more drivability so you need to make your choice.

I'd vote for an HX55 hybrid. Proven on the pulling track, more options in terms of compressor and turbine possibilities, and decent prices. Call J.R.
I'd also consider something bigger than a street DD if you're going to pull a lot...

what class are you wanting to pull in if it's the dhra street class with the 2.8in inducer rule. i would go with scheid's lightning turbo. if you are just wanting a turbo for pulling call haisley or scheid. i think htt and II are more for street driving.
