Heres a question i have for next pulling season i am going to need a new injection pump is it worth the money for a hot rod pump ?? a new so pump is around a $1k less then the the cheapest hot rod i have found i am running a scheid 150hp injector with a lighting 20001 turbo a edge comp and a fass fuel system ?? also looking into differant ideas on the other parts listed above ie a stack with my comp or possible a differant ecm Thanks, Jr

 

Stick with the SO pump. IMO it's an all around better pump and will give more top end if you decide to go crazy.

 

A drag comp makes one heck of a box for sledpulling.

 

A Redline box is it when it comes to sledpulling stacked with a Timing box its a very affective combo...But they can be pump eaters!

 

Many people say they both max out at 600 hp. My truck felt much faster when my new scheid pump was installed but got way worse milege (the thing idled at 950 rpm). your injectors have to matchup with the pump as well. I had 200+ hp injectors in my truck and they were waaay to big for my turbo and my hrvp44.
