Thanks for all the updates. I hope this helps people when they ask what power they should expect for certain upgrades. Just a reminder for those who forget- I need the truck information like this HP/TQ (username) Truck Description- Mods.

Brandon thanks from me too, about making this list and keeping it current.

There may be some question now about my torque number being so high at 771. I have had somebody mention to me that it is about 25 percent high and they may be completely correct. I don't know.

My truck was dyno'd on a mustang dyno this last time on 4-1-06 and the sheet said 320/771 with the only upgrades being AFE Stage 2 and Magnaflow exhaust. My numbers last July on a dynojet were 280/528 factory stock. Any thoughts or comments are welcome. If it is not right, I want to know and have accurate numbers. I guess I need to go RE-dyno on a dynojet.

547 on a stock charger with a pressure box stacked over a downloader with pressure? Sounds like an atomic bomb and one heck of a correction factor!

Nah..if you dop the math...that little stocker spooled so quick it made peak horsepower at around 2,200 rpms. That is the only way to have the torque reading...lol!

Please...

feel free to demean me... My truck has let me down BIGTIME on a dynojet...

1996 12V E F G4 I O X (x 370) and 191 DV's = 347 RWHP and 796 RWTQ on a dynojet......

I know that theres room for improvement, but i thought i was closer to 400 RWHP, at least 410.....

Rick

on an optimistic note, its a good start point....

Was your area using winter blend diesel when you had the truck dyno`ed? (That would/could account for about a 15-25 rwhp loss)

Also; it seems that the same truck on different days, and/or different dyno`s can have very different numbers. I have seen trucks have 520 one time, dyno months later, and be in the 460`s. (With no changes to the truck or fuel whatsoever.)
