Truck Pulls In Indiana

Anyone going to the ATPA Salem, Indiana PULL on May 27 and 28th?
This is Friday and Saturday next week.

Salem, Indiana is located about 80 miles south of Indianapolis via I65 and is about 20miles west off of 65.
(Friday and Sat will both have Diesel street classes, and Saturday will have the "run what ya brung class for us local types!"

On that Saturday there is also a DHRA, Pull in Mooreland, Indiana.

Both pulls will have open classes on Saturday for those in excess of 1000hp!

More info on:

Ray Gullett The guy who was laughed at for using an unholy camshaft and injectors. I guess in the end he got the last laugh.

He got first by a mile ( from what I hear, 10 feet is a mile in sled pulling ) No one else was over 300. Ray was 305. He even put the screws to the mighty Sled Puller and a few others.

A lowly 24 valve at that. Whats the world coming to?

I'll give you one guess: His first name starts with a "D" and his last name starts with a "M".

Except the turbo, thats a Floor It Special and it will make a name for itself in due time.

He would have had the pull in St Louis in the bag, but the engine was overpowering the clutch. That was dealt with and it holds great now.

Poor Sled, he probably had nightmares last night It will be a tough year for him.

Alright now, lets be nice. I am better known as a vampire to some in the mid-west anyway, not a god.

Did you pull in Mooreland?
