Truck Fest Photos and Dragster updates

We just wrapped up the 2006 Truck Fest in Denver, and had fun. Greg was there with the Dr. Performance truck to run with us in the ATS / Valvoline Dragster.

Our best? 8.800 at 166.
Greg? 8.85, 155

Too close for comfort.

Go to www.cumminsracing.com for photos on the photo page....

It was good to see you and Dustin again! Congratulations on your great times! I am glad you beat COMP 461!

As you are aware, I attended the event with my buddies, Jimmy and Dale Smith. They towed their Scheid Diesel/ATS Diesel/Valvoline/Corsa Sponsored Pro-Street Dodge CTD Pickup out there and ran a best of 11.3 @ 123 MPH.
Although the truck did not run as good as it did at Indy (10.5 @ 133 MPH) I still feel it was still good time for that high altitiude of Denver. They had a few minor problems but everything seems to be fixed again.

I want to sincerely thank Clint and Ranee Cannon along with all of my friends at "ATS Diesel Performance" and Cummins Rocky Mountain along with their entire staff of emplyees for putting on a GREAT Event!

We were really trying to get there, but fell behind. It is about as far east as we get, now itching to go to Atlanta... I hope.

You 3 are just the best darn group of guys to be with. Class act. Don't take Comp's comments too serious, or that they are directed against you guys. He just shoots at anything with a Scheid sticker, or anyone that even looks like they may know Sled Puller. Mention Eric's name and he looks like he is having a seizure..... It is kind of fun to do when it's quiet.... Passes the time.

We are so happy when guys come as far as you did just to try running a marathon while breathing through a straw. The air was BAD, nearly 9500 ft corrected. We were lucky anyone ran at all.

Thanks for the kind words! The feelings are mutual.

You are right about COMP 461, but unfortunately I am not one of those that can sit "idly by" and let the types of comments he makes go by without some type of a response! For some interesting reading go over to the TDR site; Competition Section; under the title "Anyone Running a COMP Cam"? and read our "banter" on his comments towards Jimmy and Dales truck there Scott. IMO, he is "full of it!" And I don't think that will EVER change.
He needs to remember the age old saying my Dad always used; that being;
"Be sure your brain is engaged before putting your mouth in gear!"

Thanks alot for those "corrected figures" on the altitude up there at Bandimere Scott! Man, that is amazing to me and I am in awe of how well you, Clint and all the guys at ATS are able to run up there!

Thanks again and we hope to see you soon,....maybe at Atlanta.
