Those pulling with autos, need input
I am probably going to pull for the first time on the 10th. I have a Georend Billet tranny with a lock up switch. Does anybody pull using the converter locked up? Will this break stuff, help or hurt?

I also have a goerend trans with a lock up switch. When i pull i put it in drive, lock out OD, leave converter switched unlocked. Once im in 3rd gear 4x4 low i flip the tq switch so its locked up and run it all the way to about the last 10 ft. then un lock and lift lightly.

I have mine on a 3 way switch. I have auto setting (computer controlled) unlocked and locked. when i lock mine up it will stay lock until i flip the switch, i also have the VB set so it will not down shift for the dyno. As soon as i hit the unlock it does instantly.

I have been thinking about doing this, but I would much rather have it set up so the computer does it rather than myself manually.

I'm not a puller but wouldnt it be better to lock it up manually and then let the computer unlock it once the wheel speed gets to the point it automatically unlocks? Or is there a benifit of unlocking it early?

Wow, that is a good write up. All i did was cut my orange and black wire and run it to the cab. add a ground and wired it to a 3 way switch far right is auto, center is unlocked, and far left locked. all you have to do is connect the wires back together for the auto through a switch. do nothing for the center-unlocked and then add a ground to the locked up side. make since?
