A Thing Of Beauty

We are building a SBC diesel mud drag/mud bog with a 4BT diesel engine. This engine is going into a Jeep frame and custom body. We had Piers himself from Peak Diesel build the engine up for us. Here are some pictures of the motor almost complete. Man are we excited! Maybe Piers can jump in and explain what all he has done.`

should push 450 on #2, 600 with some NOX, it'll wind out over 5K, mostly stock bits n pieces

Peter,
Looks really nice however I think you might have some issues spinning those size of chargers on a 4BT (just my opinion). Looks like a K31 performance on the bottom and a HX40/16 on top.

Yes, HX40/16 up top, GT4202 underneath. And yes, would be a lag pig on the street, but this one is for racing, probably the only time it'll be under 2500 rpm's is while it's warming up

Piers:

Hey buddy, how are you doing Sir??? I am very glad to see you back on the websites again and back in the diesel performance business! You and Harry are both great guys and such an asset to all of us! I will never forget when I first met you at that Scheid Rally way back in 1998!

Good luck to you and Harry Piers and say hello to Louise for me!
Hope to see you at some events this year.

Your friend,

Almost a shame to put that pretty thing in a vehicle....It would look great just like that in the living room

Piers knows his stuff, that should be one great performer
