Just found out that I cant make Deleon, But it's for the best reason in the world IM GOING TO BE A DADDY (May 15) found out 2 weeks ago. I now have to go be seen at a few family events that I could have got out of befor but not now ( They would be the same weekend). Its ok though I would trade every pull from now on for this. My wife still want's to go to some pulls and wants me to pull this year and in the years to come becose she likes it (GOD I LOVE HER) Hope the pull goes well, let me know how it goes.

Congratulations 545.... There's nothing like being a parent...

I'm sure Buck's pump look stock on the outside too... Even a Modded VP is going to look stock on the outside.. I think you'll have to stick to a turbo limit.. and stock apprearing pump.. (No Sigma pumps... which won't be an issue in a stock class.. or probably any class..)

Just make the rules for the mojority.. your not going to please everyone.. some will have change their trucks if they want to pull in a certain class or they will have to move up..
On weight classes watch the scales, and see where eveyone is weighing in... Sure.. I'd like to see it at 6500lbs.. but that only fits about 2 trucks... others would like it at 10.5K... (At 10.5K we would have to add 7 1/2 feet of hanging weights stacked together to get to the limit.. hahaa... Truck weight 6000lbs, weights are 2in thick..)

Not sure if we are going to make DeLeon... We'll see...

The pump that is on the truck now is nothing special. 887 with cuts #0plate 4k springs shimed and every thing else a redneck can do. My 13mm pump will be back soon. On a side note we made 1074hp yesterday on the rollers(little pump) And what do you mean your not sure if your going?

Tttpa

The Texas Truck & Tractor Pullers Association has added a diesel pickup class to our line up on a trial basis. We will be running DHRA Street Diesel rules with the exception of allowing hanging weights. We have three pulls left this season and they are as follows: Boyd, Texas September 22nd; Deleon, Texas September 29th; and Priddy, Texas October 6th. There will be a purse payout at all three pulls for this class. Each participant will be required to join the association and adhere to all class rules as well as the general rules for the association. Regular membership is $75.00 and competing membership (which is good for one event) is $30.00. Only regular members will be allowed to vote at our annual rules meeting. We hope that this will help this class of vehicles grow and allow these pullers more opportunities in the state and surrounding states. We also understand that there may be some changes to the rules for this class or we may need to run a different set of DHRA class rules, but hopefully this give us and the pullers a starting place. We would like to work closely with DHRA as this class develops. Our website, www.tttpa.com should be up by 9/20/07 and rules will be accessible there. If you have any questions, please email me at av8rdat@yahoo.com. We hope to see you at these next events.

Thank you
David Templeton
President, TTTPA

David,
Did you look at the wesite? I hope that helps you some www.j7vehiclesales.com on the performance page. When you get a printout of the rules for the rest of the year, get me a copy or give it to Pete and I will post them on the site.
