Hey, i saw a few of you guys in the TN and Nashville area. the roberston county fair is this week and there is a 4x4 street truck pull on thursday night. i am planning on entering my 91. the hook fee is $20 it should be a fun night. i would love to meet some of the local DTR guys. if any of you are interested in coming or pulling let me know i think it'll be a lot of fun.

 

I'd go but my truck will be in the body shop for about two weeks And I'd be embarrassed to show up in my little truck(94 Saturn!!) Hauls a lot of rotors in the trunk, but doe not pull very well!! Good luck though!! I think another guy pm'd me and we were hoping maybe to get something together for middle tn folks were we could meet up occasionally.

 

sounds sweet, he don't down the 94 saturn, i've got one in the yard... if it'd make you feel better you could park the saturn down the street and drive my wifes CTD in let me know about that get together.

7200lb
8200lb gas
8200lb diesel
10200 gas
10200 diesel

admission is $8 that includes all the rides and stuff (which i know all you guys are really dying to do)

updates?! Trophies?! Carnage?!!!

 

ok i just got back... i pulled 247'9" in the 7200pound class and didn't break anything! there was a TDR member that won the 6200 and 7200 and placed second in the 8200 classes with the same truck. pretty sweet. all in all it was a good night, if i want to do any better i'm gonna need a clutch, even starting 4lo in 2nd it still didn't like it... i locked it up about 10 foot off the line, probably 150 in i put my foot all the way to the floor and it slipped again. if anyone is interested they said next friday the pull is in Dixon at the fair there.

 

My internet crapped out at the house(well someone elses, I've got a wireless card) so I got to check everything at work.

Sounded like a good time. I wish I could have made it. I want to go and then again I don't. I went to the Nationals up at Indy this year and watched some of the big boys play and now I want to hook. But my clutch doesn't want me too.

There are a couple people from work that live in Dickson, I'll see if I can get more info on it.

 

Who was it? What about the truck? I wish i coulda made it. If it had been tonight i coulda been there.

 

they were there from the dickson area, members over on TDR. he wouldn't tell me much about the truck that cleaned up it was a white reg cab auto. blew a bunch of smoke at the start but once the turbo spooled cleaned it up to a good haze. i know Got Smoke? was there but didn't have his truck. can't remember the other names. there was another TDR member with twins also white but extended cab, but they made him take off the water injection so his pull was less than impresive, i am going to guess that temps made him let off of it. he was only injecting water, no meth so i don't see why they gave him trouble, oh well, it'd be sweet if a bunch went to the pull next friday in dickson, i'm pretty sure both the trucks i just metioned will be there.
