Shippensburg,PA Pull
Rpainter i was hopein to see ya there man!!! Hey if u remember who was the guy that pulled the light blue mega cab at the last Shippensburg pull?
Man did that thing realy turn on about 100', i was like holly @#$%, but then about 250' it just shut down like he lost boost or somethin!
About the rules i agree, street should be programer(s) intake, exhaust.
Then we should have like a Pro Street, single charger(2.8), intakes, exhaust, injectors, modded pump. No nitrous or water & meth
Then the mod class with ***** to the walls every thing!

light blue MegaCab?? I didn't make it to that pull but I bet i know who you're talking about, he's from up this way if it's the one I'm thinking of. He has been having some small fueling problem, but i think his biggest problem is traction. Still running the Rugged Trails!, lol. The truck's a 6 sp, definitely the best sounding spooling MegaCab yet.. You'll hear him at the line.
Anyway, we should all be at Shippensburg Friday eve. I won't be pulling though, since McConnelsburg, my transfer case is wrecked again. Duane (Atlantic blue MegaCab) should be pulling though again, step into the pits and try to catch him if you have questions on his setup. He's a pretty quiet guy that dosen't get excited, but he should answer your questions. He's usually wearing a black "Dodge" hat. He didn't pull at McConnelsburg though, parked his truck after getting weighed in and the Check Engine light popped on, that's something I will never have to worry about on my old 12 valve dinasaur, but for him that night.. he lost all but limp mode fueling. That wouldn't have been too impressive!
He could have gotten passed by an Amish buggy on the way home.

Yup Nick that is him!!! I talked to him lastnight alittle bit! Yeah he needs some new skins on that piece! Nice Guy too! Id like to talk to him again sometime hopefully ill see him before the season is over. I hope he gets things figured out!! U are right that thing sounds awesome on the line!
Yeah.. He wants to swap the stock injectors back in to see if that resolves his fueling issues. Them Common Rail engines don't need big injectors to make decent power..
Notice how he first tried too tall of a gear?? That was 6th-low, He's NUTS!, He actually tried the same thing Tues night up at Troy.. with the same exact results, lol. 5th-low is what usually works best, but that may change with some more bite from new tires. He may have killed his clutch too last night, Got 'er hot trying to launch in OD, then slipped it pretty good on the 2nd shot, at the end of that pull the tires just weren't turning as they should have been.. Some clutch smoke was showing too, i noticed.

Where were ya Brett??, and where's your playmate?, lol.. the red F-350 shortbed?? I wanna see that truck hook!
I looked on Interstate's website and didn't see any results or placings.. just names and points standings. So, from memory.. This is what i recall. If i get something wrong, hopefully someone else who was there will get it straight.
street class; 1st place: 2004 dark green shortbed Duramax (Jeremy?) - 294'
2nd: (Sean Liberator) 2005 black F-350 crewcab/longbed - 280-290'??
3rd: white '93 reg cab first gen, manual trans and one stack straight up beind the cab - 275'.
Others.. one white '96 F-250 shortbed (Matt? from Antrim Diesel), had a rough start, also appeared that he could have used one gear higher, several 7.3 Superduties, 2 6.0 Fords plus Liberator and various 2nd gen and 3rd gen 24 valve trucks. The black sport Ram smoked good, but appears to be running a single disc clutch, needs a double!, lol. Marlin Shirk was there with his '98 light driftwood metallic, quadcab 12 valve.. but broke his hitchpin for the second week in a row. I hope he didn't run back to Wal-Mart for another, lol. If that wouldn't have broken, ..I think that truck would have stirred up the order...
mod class; both Jason Heimbach and Lamar Burkholder had full pulls. FP was 315'. Lamar was technically first with 318.5' and Jason did 316', but both guys agreed to split the winnings and not do a pulloff. Lamar has the red '97 club cab "East Coast Diesel" and Jason has the white '99 F-250 crewcab/shortbed. I really forget the rest of the order, but i know Scott Parsons, Steve Stolzfus, and the former red Amsoil "SledPuller" truck of Gene Mohney all had 300'plus pulls..
Parsons has the dark green '97 East Coast Diesel club cab, Steve has the dark maroon '94 2500 and the old SledPuller truck is now part of the "Gotta Go" pulling team, ..is painted Red-Silver and some black. Two pullers from West Virginia (i believe) had a healthy black/lime green club cab 12 valve and a clean crewcab/longed 2004 GMC Duramax. Carson's still toying with his white 2000 F-350 PowerStroke to get it dialed in just right. I mentioned above about Duane's blue MegaCab not doing too well. Jonathan Woshcobb (sp?) with his blue '94 had charger probs, it appeared. Andrew Stevens' white '02 quadcab Antrim truck rode the torque converter for nearly a minute, not being able to build boost on the first try.. Came back later, got 'er about half lit and the water came on way too early, only did about 75', 2nd chance was it. Ladell Weaver with the black '95 (East Coast Diesel) club cab seemed to have several problems, ..engine seemed to over-rev.. he backed out.. it stalled and he had trouble getting it restarted.. I just don't know what the deal was here..
Well, hope i didn't get anything totally wrong or forgot anything important.. Let us know if there's anything misleading.
