Can't go this year, but every time we've made the trip (900+ miles one way), it's been well worth the effort. It is one of the best events, IMO.

 

Still waiting to see where all the DTR guys are meeting up at? Only on e of ya wants to meet?

 

I tried to get a DTR together last year, It didnt work so well. If I had gotten to your post earlier I would have met up with you...

 

I went down on Friday.....ate supper at Garfields in the mall, only to find out that everything for Friday night had been cancelled. Pretty dissapointed because I couldn't go back on Saturday. Four hour round trip for nothing.....Oh well.... Next year!

Northwest......about 50 miles NW of Lafayette. What was the reason for cancelling Friday? Did they get a bunch of rain?

 

yea seemed like there was about 3 in of rain i was kinda upset drove 700 + miles and friday was canceled......but that night i had a blast sitting in the parking lot watching everyone act stupid .....
