I am not that secretive about it I dont know if any of you were the guys that were asking me about it while it was on the scales, but I couldnt talk then, i had trucks waiting behind me to weigh in and i had to get out of the way. Once i pulled off the scales and got over to the side I BS'ed with quite a few people. I dont "advertise" what all i have done to it on here etc, but i am more than willing to help anyone that is looking for more power out by sharing what knowlege i have of what works on my truck and what hasnt worked on my truck.

I'm actually wanting to do a little pulling with my truck once I finish with the engine.

Anybody with manual transmisions know what works to pull at the track with and still do good on the street? I won't pull much, mostly for fun and not with the 40's. I have another set of wheels with some 35's I'm gonna use if allowed.

Didn't mean to offend you ssigmon, I have never said anything to you, just heard from others. I would keep fairly quiet down there about what's done to my truck too, otherwise you might start seeing some new rules pop up eliminating you from competing.
My buddy with the red ford was extremly upset that he wasn't able to beat you or jemery. He had just got his fancy new SCT programmer and expected miracles out of it. He was even willing to bet with me on it, I couldn't take his money.

Scott, glad to see you on the board. I understand you keeping secret about your mods, when I get my truck paid off, mines going stealth mode , well, except for maybe stacks. Nice truck, and you did great at pulling, hope to see you there more often.

I dont remember how many trucks were in the pull, I want to say it was quite a few, but dont know right off hand, a pretty girl was next to me during most of the diesel pull, so I really dont remember much (and it wasnt my girlfriend......)

The red ford did not do good at all, and now there are rumors that it had twins. If it had twins, it would have done better, I hope, then again, it is a powerjoke. Like I said before, with as quiet as the stock turbo was on it, I wonder who came up with it had twins

That red ford doesn't have twins, I don't know what fool started that. It's an 03 and something about that particuliar year's turbo makes a lot of noise if you take the muffler off. Even at idle it's whinning away, I've heard this same noise on several 03s, something to do with the number of blades on the turbo itself. Ford changed the number since that year to stop that sound, too many complaints from owners.
He ended up placing 4th I think, extremly mad that he was still unable to compete with the dodge crowd. That's it for him though nothing else he can do to it within a reasonable price. Injectors are outrageous for those things.
Hope you get your truck right Mark, could have been a dodge sweep.

Mark,

Are you sure the next pull is on the 22nd of June? I thought the next one is the nationals on the 30th. Does anyone know if they are going to allow the diesels to pull on the 30th?

Jeff

I could swear they didn't allow pickups to pull after the nationals. However I did leave early, I could only make it to 1am and they were still running through the pro classes.
I believe they said they would be running them this year, I think the event went long last year due to a number of delays and either they didn't run stockers or I missed them.
Nice dyno pulls last weekend too jemery, that must be a fun problem, which way to set up my programmers to get the most power? I don't get a choice
