Ran at the track last night 5 runs all together now before i go into details what the HE** causes these transmisions in these 12 valves to act up in 3rd? Like when you try to bang 3rd its like it goes into neutral and you gotta pull it out of 3rd and put it back in i know you guys know what i am talking about cause my friend which you will get to see in the video has the sam problem as does another guy i know.

Anyway i raced 5 times, the previous time i raced i ran a 14.5 without any problems but i had less air in my tires and yesterday it was scorchin hot, but nevertheless my best time was a 14.8 the first run the second i had the third gear problem i ran a 15.3 3rd run didnt launch at all just took off ran a 15.0 4th and fith had the 3rd gear problem and ran a 15.3 both times.

And as for you that would like to know how hard it is on your trucks to launch in 4 wheel drive hears what happened last night on my last run.





And the front u-joint was cracked all to He** and about to break.

Hear is a couple vidoes. The first one is my 2nd run and the 2nd video is my last run against my friend "The other one with the 3rd gear problem" It was funny cause we both had the 3rd gear problem on this run. Just thought i would share with you guys.

A hard 4 wheel launch risks breakin about everything. It is definetly a teeth clencher when you do it.

If that truck

is not on 370s yet or a turbo, it sure is fast for ur mods.. was the clutch a stocker? I gotta ask.. and how much boost were u launchin with?

I did that same thing to my first after-market clutch, 5 years ago, before South Bend was on the scene. Wasn't racing when it happened - just driving down the street. It wore a quarter inch deep grove all the way around the bell housing.

Lol no the truck is on stock injectors and stock charger and stock clutch. oh....yea..... and did i mention she just rolled over to 252,000 miles!! Ya gotta love those cummins.

And yea bart it wore a groove in mine too buti dont have the money for a different bell housing i hope everything is gonna be ok with it.

Does anyone know why it does that 3rd gear thing.
