I knew the day would come. This guy thinks his truck is the sickest thing in the world (bone stock 05 super duty, 4 dr, 4x4, loaded, blah blah). Anyways he has been asking me to race for awhile now and I told him I dont race pieces of you know what. Last night we finallt pull up to a light side by side. He revs at me, I rev back, then I ungauge 4HI. As the light changes a give him a bit of a start then let her rip. I of course caught him quick from my lauched but also pulled on him fairly well uphill. My fuel economy hasnt been stellar in this truck but the power sure is there!

 

That's awesome, and how many miles do you got on the truck so far, it takes a while before you really get your best fuel economy

Im at 2,500 miles and getting on average MAYBE 13 mpg.

 

I always though in stock for the fords were a little faster mainly cause they can rev so high. Glad to know I was wrong. congrats.
