Smitty,

Are you gonna have your truck together in time for Beach Bend in Bowling Green this year?

Hey Jimmy,

Where are you guys working on the truck at? I'd like to swing by and take a look and lend a helping hand if needed.

Thanks for the directions Jimmy, I'll stop by sometime. I would love to buy a good drag truck but don't have the thumbs up from my financial source yet. I just want to pilot that machine down the track.

Good reading.

Jimmy - Hope the truck is back and ready. Just another bad boy for Pro Street.

Don - I don't think you can blame DHRA for keeping the 12v alive. So far they just are making the power that everyone is gunning for. But I do believe that will change as people like you do the massive R&D to make it happen.

I think next year will be fun to watch. Sounds like a lot more competitors for 2006 which can mean only one thing... more fun and excitement.

BTW - I liked that calculator you linked to. That one had Darren at 1003 peak hp and 937 average.

And if you make it to IRP, please stop by the dyno and say hello. Even better, stop by after we are done so I can talk to ya a little.

I'm gonna be watching the 12.0 indexed class. I think this will be a great class for the racers and fans.

My 2006 Predictions... well I've been wrong the last few years so what's one more prediction.

- Duramax will do well. Might even be the platform everyone chases.

- Nitrous and single turbo with weight reduction will open some doors for folks.

- P-pump 12v's will continue to be at or near the front.

- 11 seconds will not be competitive in Pro Street

- 9 seconds will not happen with a 4wd. Maybe not at all.

I'm looking forward to the new season. Can't wait to see some of the new tube chassis rides, Pro Street trucks being built. Gonna be a good year just waiting for some TV cameras (here that Eric)

David, your a great ambassador! Indy, of course I will look you up. I tried in Muncie, but you looked very very busy running that dyno in the heat.

David...........What's the limit as to why no 9 sec trucks can be expected. Is it just impossible? That's kind of a downer. And I though SnowWhite had it in the bag.

DHRA has a "Traction Beam" like from Star Wars to slow the trucks down Preston.... You should know that

No real reason Preston... just my current thoughts... but then again, I said I have been wrong the previous years too.

i believe darren has a real good shot at it. if his motor stays together for the full 1/4 mile we could see 9sec. early next year. just my 2 cents worth.
