2007 OUTLAW RACE AND PULL BOWLING GREEN, KY

MAY 11TH – OPEN HOUSE
MAY 12TH – DRAG RACING – BEECH BEND PARK -8:00 AM CST
MAY 12TH – DIESEL PULL –SOKY FAIR GROUNDS -6:30 PM CST
GATES OPEN AT 4:00 PM CST
TECHING AND SCALES OPEN AT 5:00 PM CST
TURBOS MUST BE TECHED AND TECH CARDS SIGNED OFF ON , BEFORE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DRAW FOR PULLING POSITION , SO PLEASE GET THERE EARLY .

GO NORTH ON HWY 231
TO FIRST LIGHT TURN LEFT ON HWY 880 (veterans memorial blvd)
TO HWY 2665 TURN RIGHT (glen lily road )
GO 6\10 OF MILE
GATE ON RIGHT SIDE OF ROAD

Rules for the Sledpull:

8500 LB STREET DIESEL TRUCK

1. Must be licensed, registered, and insured (Bring CURRENT registration and insurance with you to register)
2. Single Turbo charger only. Must bolt directly to manifold , NO adapter plates. The compressor housing may be no larger than a 2.4 inch inlet measured at the smallest diameter area of the compressor wheel. Downsizing of the compressor housing ahead of the wheel is NOT allowed but must meet the 2.4 inch diameter for at least 3/4 inch in front of the wheel along the bore. The inlet will be measured using a 2.45 inch plug. A stock MWE groove is allowed. No MWE groove will be allowed that has greater than a 1/4 inch width. All provisions allowing air to the wheel other than the bore and the MWE groove are prohibited.
3. Water\Methanol Injection allowed.
4. Nitrous and/or Propane are permitted.
5. All Computer chips and boxes are permitted
6. Stock appearing injection pump , LIMITED TO ONE.
7. There will be under hood inspections
8. Original style front and rear suspension. Lowering or raising vehicle height with suspension modifications is permitted. No Strapping or Chaining of Front or Rear Suspension. CenterLink maybe strapped.
9. Air Bags permitted, must have only 1 airline running to them and line must be capped off, no air tanks, compressors or in cab controls.
10. Tractions Bars must have a safety loop or strap securely attached to frame & bars near where bars attach to frame of truck.
11. Front Hanging Weights are allowed, NOT to exceed 60 inches forward of the center of the front axle. THIS WILL BE MEASURED FROM CENTER OF FRONT WHEELS .NO Weights in cab of truck.
12. Factory or commercially distributed aftermarket hitch. Must be horizontal to the ground and stationary in all directions. Height from ground must not exceed 26 “. Minimum 3 1/2-inch diameter for sled hook. (NO UNDER BED PULLING HITCHES)
13. Hook point must be past rear of truck bed.
14. NO hitches with chains holding it to a gooseneck ball or other device in truck bed.
15. Truck must have both front and rear bumper.
16. Driver must provide clevis, minimum 3 ½ “diameter.
17. No weight transfer hitches.
18. No chains, studs, spikes, etc.
19. D.O.T. Street legal tires.
20. Engine must have come stock from the factory in a 1-ton pickup truck or less application. Engine does have be an option by the same manufacturer as truck.
21. Drivetrain must be O.E.M. from 1 ton or less pickup. (I.E. NO DROP BOXES OR REVERSERS)
22. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT ALL TRUCKS HAVE SAFETY EQUIPMENT (FUEL SHUT OFFS, KILL SWITCHES, SCATTER BLANKETS, DRIVE LINE LOOPS, FIRE EXTIGUSHER, ETC.)




8500 LB SUPER STREET DIESELS TRUCKS


1. May be hauled to pull.

7. Rear Suspension may be blocked. Blocks must be easily removed. NO WELDED REAR SUSPENSION.
8. Air Bags permitted, must have only 1 airline running to them and line must be capped off, no air tanks, compressors or in cab controls.
9. Tractions Bars must have a safety loop or strap securely attached to frame & bars near where bars attach to frame of truck.

20. Trucks with manual transmissions, running in excess of 4000 rpms must run a scatter proof blanket on the bellhousing.
21. Rear axle bolts must be covered either by center cap or shield.
22. Drivers must wear seat belts & helmets are recommended.
23. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT ALL TRUCKS HAVE SAFETY EQUIPMENT (FUEL SHUT OFFS, KILL SWITCHES, SCATTER BLANKETS, FIRE EXTIGUSHER, DRIVE LINE LOOPS , ETC.)

2. Truck doesn’t have to be licensed.
3. Staged Turbos are permitted.
4. Nitrous and/or Propane are permitted.
5. Water\Methanol Injection permitted.
6. All Computer Chips and Boxes are permitted.
7. No Studded Tires or Tire Chains.
8. Hanging Weights / Weight Racks are permitted, NO weights in cab of truck.
9. Driver must provide Clevis minimum 3 ½ “.
10. The point of hook must be at least 48 inches from the centerline of the rear axle. Height from ground must not exceed 26 ”. Minimum 3 1/2-inch diameter for sled hook.
11. Trucks with manual transmissions, running in excess of 4000 rpms must run a scatter proof blanket on the bellhousing.
12. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT ALL TRULY “OPEN” TRUCKS HAVE SAFETY EQUIPMENT (FUEL SHUT OFFS, KILL SWITCHES, SCATTER BLANKETS, FIRE EXTIGUSHER, DRIVE LINE LOOPS , ETC.)

you get those dual pumps put on and big injectors you should beat everybody around here justin. I dont think anybody will have a chance if you get it tuned in.

Jesse, thats wishful thinking, thanks! Yeah I hope I do beat some people around here but I dont count on it.

I just hope to have a successful season like 06 and not break too much.

lol naww i dont use them, i am not going , ill be in Stanford Ky the weekend before cant afford 2 weeks in a row

you havent heard the news? after this season my motors comming out and a common rail is going in place

I will for sure be attending this fine event. I even get to celbrate my B-day on the 12th watching diesel drags . Too bad my truck isn't fast and won't pull a sled very well.

Whats up 8500lbs? Dang thats 1800lbs of ballast on my truck.
