Beats me. I ran a 9.27 there two years ago with my dually. 5 speed, HX40, 370's.

MPH was better. 79 MPH. I had 4.10 gears back then though.

Tires broiled the first 100 feet. I was in 5th gear before the 1/8th. LOL

i did it with the hx55 on there with the 19cm exhaust housing, talk about a lag pig. i figure there are a few miles per hour and a few tenths with a decent 3 to 4 shift. but we did have a blast and drank a few beers and plenty of bsing. but i am having some strange issues with my dual disk, the pedal starts going to the floor over 4000 rpm and up. and it took off so quick on the 9.0 run that i was at 4500 or so before i knew it and when i went to shift it was grinding like a flour mill. but we are going back next week and i am trying for so 8s. mike

they run test and tune every wensday night. 10 bucks to get in and 5 to run all you wan't.

This may be a stupid question, but how do you build up boost at the line with a manual?

it is very, very hard on the clutch. stand on the brake hard, ease into the fuel to 4k or so and start letting the clutch out, keep adding fuel and clutch till the boost goes nutz. i would not have done it but i am up grading the dual dics and all ready made a deal for new 12 puck clutchs and a flywheel insert.

Would changing from a 315 to a smaller tire help in 1/8 mile times. I just ran my truck this last Friday and I was able to hit 9.1 at 76mph with a 2.0 60ft time. Would changing to a smaller tire help in the 1/8th?
