we have stops and traction bars but still have to much movement we need 2" of suspension travel

if you have any idea please chime in and can you help me out with some air pressure ideas what is the pressure you usally run

we run 25spi in the pack and 20 up front most of the time

As much as I'd like to chime in and say run 32.79lbs in the rear and 20.95lbs in the front, I can't and I doubt anybody else will either. There's too many variables here to give you any sort of "real" suggestion. Typically you find people running the rear pressures at or above max and airing down the fronts lower than the rears. To what pressure, that's the magic number and depends on an infinite set of variables like, tire (side wall deflection, plys, etc.), weight distribution of the truck, track condition, etc. Your best bet? Start a log book and start tracking it, change pressures and see how your truck reacts. Better yet, get buddy buddy with a sled operator (or find a test and tune day) and play with pressures all day long. But keep in mind, that's for that track, not another track. This is an art form of slip and grip. You air things down too much and have too much grip, it can hurt you if you don't have the power. Air the tires up too much, you set up on top of the track and never have the grip to begin with.

Are you talking tire pressue? If so then 60 psi in the rears and 25-35psi (depending on track/weight etc.)

what justin said 20-30 front and 60 or so in the rear you want the rear over inflated beleive me there will be plenty of traction on the rears

Do yourself a favor and quit being cocky about your truck.

You ask for advice about pulling and you have several people on this thread who can pull with the best out there in the street class who are willing to help.

We dont need to hear "its a runner"

When Randy "redline ram" asks you about your truck its to gather info so he can respond with some helpful information to accomplish your pulling goal.

So just be upfront and if you dont want advice dont ask for it.

whats the point of drag racing a stick truck anyway? on the street for fun I can understand but a truck with same mods thats an automatic is gonna win everytime. I owned a 6speed before and an auto truck with half the mods could keep up with it no matter how quick you can shift.

Do the rules allow pulling with a front-mounted winch?

...as long as the weight class is adhered to?
