Anyone planning on going to the Mt. Calm pull? I'm trying to decide if I am or not. It's a 2 hr drive for me and it starts at 10am...Anyone?

Heres the scoop!

I got this from one of the volunteer firefighters thats helping run the thing. Hes an industrial Cummins mechanic here in town, he told me they could use all the help they can get. Last years fires were hard on 'em............

 

Well Wes.. didn't look like much of a turn out for diesel trucks.. or at least a 4:30 it didn't... How did the truck run.. and was it as ruff as it looked... haha.. (it wasn't too bad at 6mph.. hahha..)

i went 364'. and yes, it was ruff and my dr. p box was srewing up...kinda sounded like your JD going down the track. i got it on video and will try to get it posted later tonight. Lee's truck (green Dodge) busted a gear in the rear axle and mine also hung wide open at the end of the pull (dr. p box again...) we brought home the trophy, though!

Looked like a real strong run even with the box trouble. Maybe you should get a box like this guy uses....it seems to run good
