I was suprised to see that pusre too but they must have some big names and good trucks come there. Even for the latter places, thats still a huge payout. My local pull got me $30 and a pat on the back....
Here's the rules, essentially it's a DHRA Street Diesel Class. Truck has to be tagged and registered. Single 2.8 Charger, no NOS, you can hang weights & 26" hitch. If you don't like somebody's setup bring $100 to complain with.

No.... I'm really starting to regret this decision to stay in PA till mid sumer but there were people counting on it and I'm a nice guy and couldn't let them down... Plus I needed to get some money because my Gooseneck is busted (tratctor trailer ran me off the road in St. Charles MO on I70 back a few months ago) and I have been waiting on the insurance to either get it fixed or a new one. Seems they always like to take their time.... I know the first time I saw that purse, I know I needed a new pair of pants! I hope theres more like it cause I know I will be at them. many big names or trucks come to it?
it's never good for the locals when i'm around. hopefully i'll have a little bit more HP by then. i'd actually like alot more but that won't happen. my truck is so heavy weights won't be able to help me much, i'm 500lbs shy of the 8500lb mark. but oh well, i may try it anyways just to see what happens.
For that much money and it being an Outlaw Pull before us, its bound to be a good time. Come up, I'll buy you a beer, that should make it worth it right?
TK: I didn't go last year, perhaps somebody else who did can give us some insight, but I'm thinking with that much money on the line, there's bound to be at least a couple of big names there. I'll be there but my name isn't that big, s-a-t-b-u-r-n, just 7 letters, I need a longer name...

It was the same pay scale last year which I believe was the first year for the event... they had around 30 trucks competing and a Scheid powered Mod truck made an exhibition pass... the following day they had a dyno event at Floor-It Diesel in Lawrence.
hey now, i resemble that remark. and what are you gettin at mcoleman???? you say that as if you've seen me drink. if i make a drive that far i'm afraid i'll have to steer clear of beer, cause one will only make me want lots more. and then i'd have a 4.5hr drive home, that sounds dangerous. but then again so does drag racing lmao!! you had to be there to get that one. and stock in beer sounds good, stock in up on it that is. but all bs aside i can't drink for a bit, i had a motorcycle wreck friday night so i don't think i should for a few weeks. at least till i get healed up completely.

Hope you heal quickly after the wreck. I don't know what I'd do without a shot of JD everyday. I mean when I turn 21 I won't know what I will do without a shot of JD everyday.....
thanks, i'm healin good. fortunatly my head slowed my sliding roll across the ground. well it's very possible my truck will be almost where i want it for the truck pull. i pray to one day hit some high hp with my truck.

I'm gonna have to invest in Budweiser stock.
