MO pullers
Don't forget that the Platte County Fair is putting on a serious payout pull in July.. 2K for 1st place.

That Platte pull brings them out, I hope to be there for that one... and yeah, like I said, you can pull every weekend as much as you want. There's usually multiple choices, Missouri will keep you as busy as you want.

Good to hear, Are there many pulls in the fall or from Aug through the end of the season? I just talked to my cousin and she said I was stupid not to move out there for over the sumer as well because there are pulls everywhere.
This will give you a rough idea, by no means are these the only pulls, but it will cover some of them.
First up, X-Factor sled, pretty popular, used by both the MSTPA and the MMTTPA frequently, along with some others. Their schedule is posted for the sleds, and if you don't see mention of whose pull it is you can always call the hosting city's chamber of commerce and find out...

Then there's the MMTTPA schedule, this association has a diesel class and here's their schedule:

Then there's the MSTPA, you'll have to ask them to make sure they have a class at their pulls:

Then there's the MHTTPA, no website though, I'm not a member of their association, I'm considering it, but most of the time I find out about those through friends and it's sort of last minute. You can still hook without being a member but I believe they charge you an elevated hooking fee... I'll get you contact info if you would like just PM me if you want.
Then as Graphite stated, you have the NWMTPA, I think they use the old Busch Sled?

There's something down your way (or what will be down your way) called the Spring River's Pulling Association. You can contact Gwoody or mcoleman, I think they can get you a schedule or at least in contact with somebody who can.
Lastly, there's always the pull that we don't know about, a brush pull off in some town that has nothing but a gas station and a bar, those are just word of mouth, but as you get out and about with us, you make friends, get cell numbers handed out, you'll get calls...
There, now you know as much as I do and trust me that isn't a lot... lol.

Satburn, I greatly appricate it. It helps give me ideas on rules for the different chapters around the local areas I will hopefully be running. Hopefully I will get a chance to join up with you guys. When the tiem comes closer I will be in closer contact to try adn catch up with yall. For now good luck with the pulls until I'm out there. After that hopefully the fun will begin for me lol. I will also have to get ahold of mcoleman and them to see what they are trying to put together and maybe help out if at all possible. Pulling is my life though I like a bit of drag racing. I try and help out anyway possible, maybe this will be something really worth while. Again Satburn I greatly appricate it.

There is an association based in SW MO SMTTPA (southern missouri truck tractor pullers association) that runs a circuit around the springfield area. At this time they do not have diesel classes but a buddy and I are very interested in pulling and I think they may adopt a class for next year. I will keep you posted if more info comes up.

i'm wanting to attend one of them, i'll be comin up from harrison ar south of branson, which one do ya'll think will have a bigger turn out of diesel truck, or a bigger purse??? i'm going to be at one of them for sure.
The pull at the Platte County Fair will for sure have the largest payout.... that's one heck of a drive from Arkansas though.
i'm about 35 minutes south of branson. platte city is about 4.5 hours from here. now this 2k payout, are you 100% sure it's for first place or is it the total of the purse to be given between 3 or 4 places?? as in 1st to 4th. cause in all the years i've been around truck pullin i've never seen a payout that big. that's just big. wat about marthasville, that one sounds more fun, and more competition, which i like. if i get a couple of people to go i may just hit the platte city one.
