NADM would like to invite every fan, racer, and enthusiast to the first annual Competition Diesel Invitational Drag Race May 17 at the Alabama International Dragway in Steele, AL.

This event will be presented by the National Association of Diesel Motorsports and will feature action in E/T Brackets, The Quick Diesel 12.0 Index class and the Crowd favorite, Unlimited Street. There will also be some "Comp D Deathmatch" Grudge racing along with some Pro-Stock and Top Diesels there making passes as well. Anyone can come and race or make some run for fun passes as well. This will be an - All Diesel Event.

The action will begin Friday May 16 for the AID's friday night "Moonlight Madness" Test-N Tune from 9-PM to 1AM. This will give us all a chance to go beat up on all of the import and gasser trash.

The Gates will reopen to all competitors at 9AM Saturday and the Spectator gates will open at noon. Test n' Tune will begin at 2PM and Qualifying will begin around 4:30-5:00 PM.

At 7PM, it will be time to get ROWDY! Eliminations will start for all classes and we will run till we are done!

Come see some of the baddest diesels in the land, meet the teams and party like rockstars with us!

We will have sponsor info and lodging info out asap!

Just heard that there may be some possible side-by side Dragster action and Darren Morrison's Cummins-Powered S-10 vs. Banks' Duramax-Powered S-10. Should be a great time!

 

Does that mean Caged fury is fixed ? Looking forward to seeing it run

Seems the KY clan has the minor spooling problems solved....... Should put on a helluva show with Jimmy, Meacham, the Spruills and the Black Mamba all trying to decide who has the baddest 4x4 in the land.


Me too. The Friday night test-n-tune should be a blast. Darren Morrison, Banks, Scheid, John Robinson (Happy Funnycar) and Chad Riley with his altered will be in attendance too.

 

This events sounds like it's going to be on par with the TS event. Hope everyone will make an effort to attend. I'll be leaving out early Friday, can't wait.

How's your truck Meacham? Hope you packed some extra underwear for this trip, one pair per launch sounds about right... That truck of yours is a beast.

 

Truck is fine. I've been doing some testing with other exhaust housings on my big charger. Trying to get the launches down. Hope you are going to Steele. It's going to be a great time.

The flex plate bolts had backed out. We're ready. I don't think the red loctite will let go. Hope to see you there. I think we're going to stir up the gassers on Friday night. Tim wants us to so they will show up on Saturday.
