Nope he didn't win, he blew the engine up comming back for the pull off

 

That's a cryin shame .. Talk about bad luck!

 

I am no sled pull expert, I have never done it or even been to one for that matter. why would they have a sand wall like that so close to the end or why not put the weight on the front of the sled earlier. Seems like a bad set up to me?

 

Sled definitely needed to be heavier OR they needed to held this event somewhere else.
Also with the speed he had he really should have shut it down earlier.
Oh well he put on a great show though!

Going into the sand pile at the end of the track dusted the motor(no air filter)...thats why he couldnt get it lit up in the pull off.
