Kill switch on a VP truck

My local pulling association requires a kill switch mounted on the back of the truck. I called a local diesel shop that has a couple of pulling trucks, and they don't have any idea about how to rig up a kill switch on a VP truck. Has anyone done this, or know how to? Thanks

They want a fuel kill switch? or Just a Kill switch? If you put an Air shut off it will work though it can restrict air flow if not done properly.

They want a switch that hooks to the sled so that the engine will be killed in case the truck breaks free of the sled. On a 12 valve you use the fuel shutoff solenoid, and on the common rail there is a rail pressure switch that you ground, but the VP seems to be an enigma.

Put a fuel shut off solenoid right in front of the VP?

Put a air shut off in front of the turbo.

What about cutting power to PCM or running the ignition switch through a relay and dropping that relay through the switch on the rear. I'm thinking of the same thing, but for a different reason. I want an underhood shutdown button.

I believe in this case they are wanting exactly what Smoking S is suggesting. Even on a VP truck (any truck for that matter) a fuel shut-off is only going to kill the fuel, if you blow a turbo you can still suck oil and run off that. I'm sure they are wanting an air shut-off, but you better ask them to clarify.
