does anyone know what motel that was at indy that there was a video on here with trucks doing burn-outs and such?...what are the motels that you want to be at for this event?.....i missed going last year,and im trying to get lined up this year....want to be at the party spot though for sure........thanks,,,bama

 

I am not sure where the hotel is, but my buddy and I will be staying at the campground that is right next door the the race park. We will be making rounds to all the areas where some after racing event/parties will be taking place

 

i found the info i wanted,,on tdr under special events,national events,irp2006.....its the amerihost lot,,days inn across street........by the sounds of it,,might be booked up already............bama

 

Amerihost is booked solid, not sure about the Days Inn.

 

we stayed at the days inn last year ...

the show on the street friday and saturday night was more fun than the nations ...

there is also a free pull saturday night somewhere in the vacinity ...

I have my res in.....its only 40 min drive to the track for me! I would think camping would be much better than a hotel...just my thoughts.

 

To bad last year the cops had to be such a pain. I liked it better when it was in Muncie. Besides being ten min drive from my house the cops didnt even show up until 11 or 12, prior to that they were nowhere to be found. some even were watching.

 

We have a room reserved at the Comfort in also, did that Saturday. Supposed to be just minutes from IRP.

Anybody from Iowa, Illinios going? Maybe convoy out on Friday?

I'll be there. Hopefully to compete too. Staying at Lee's Inn, in Plainfield. They still have rooms! Only a 20 minute drive.

 

Plainfeild should be cheep but I think its a bit more than 20 min. Its on the otherside of Indy. Prob. was a good deal though. Not a bad drive, just might have to fight morning traffic on 465.
