I finally won a pull....Reedsville, WV

It was my 4th time pulling & the old Dodge hooked up great. I got some new BFG All Terrains this morning & they really got er' moving. I busted a intercooler boot last week at Fayette fair & only had a stock boot this week to install, but it held up. Adreneline is still pumping! I don't have a video....sorry.

Thanks guys! Mountaineer....you missed a good show. There were 19 trucks running in the diesel class & they only ran 1 class....open diesel. A few of the trucks were trailered in & weights hanging out front. That makes a man feel good! I drove my truck there....then pulled a 15k# skidsteer home after the show. Gotta love a Cummins engine!

Congratulations Lent. Always a good feeling to win one. I won my first about a year ago and my 5 year old stole my trophy.

Just a side note though. The best competition in WV wasnt there last night. Brian Vannest's BIG BAD AND UGLY took the night off. He has won 14 of 15 hooks this year all over Ohio and WV and the one he lost in Mcarthur Ohio he broke. Another tough truck in our circle is PENDLEY FARMS Black Dually. He has 7 street class wins and 3 open class wins and 5 second place and quite a few 3rd place open. Queen Jeane's SILLY BOYS TRUCKS ARE FOR GIRLS truck wasnt there (several 1st and seconds in both classes) And me bringing up the rear - 1 first, 4 second, 4 thirds and lots of 4th in both classes. A couple of guys that run with us out of OHIO didnt go either. Greg Cochran's EMPTY POCKETS was one I know from Ohio that didnt go...of course there are some guys from the eastern panhandle that would say they have the toughest trucks in WVI have invited them down but they wont come. Bush-I hope you read this!!!

If it sounds like i am bragging, I am not, just stating facts - we got the toughest trucks in the state (WV) - I repeat the state of WV I wish we would have came. Come to Wirt county this thursday. A real small fair about 2 hours from reedsville. come down rt 50 to parkersburg and then take I-77 south get of the mineral wells exit take rt 14 about 14 miles to Elizabeth.

Again, congratulations - its a sickness hooking to the sled - isnt it

I am not one of these "My truck is the baddest thing on the planet" guys & am not a bragger. I know that my truck is not the baddest. I am just happy to win a pull. The guys who you mentioned probably do this stuff all the time & don't tow equipment for a living. I have never seen a guy win a pull then hook to a 15k# skidsteer trailer in tow 40 miles on the way home. I may never win a pull again in my life or I may....really don't care. I am just trying to relieve some tension & stress from my daily life. Thanks for the Congrats, but don't shoot my horse while I'm riding it. I'm leaving for Aruba at 4:00am.....be back in a week! Thanks guys.

You are right about some of the ones I mentioned but as for me and Pendley - He unhooks from 25,000lbs of hay daily and I work around logging with mine, drive it in, travel... Pulled some decent loads but not like him.

So when you get back from Aruba head south to sunny Meigs county Ohio. 2.5 hours from reedsville. August 17th Take the Ravenswood/Columbus exit off of I-77. Go East on 33 for 17 miles fair ground is on the right at the Rt 7 Rt 33 interchange. Last year I think there were 42 trucks in the street class. 20ish in the Open. For all you dodge cummins guys crank it up diesel(d-max) are supposed to be sending a bunch of trucks down.

Plus I think you missed my point. You said there were guys there that trailered in and had hanging weights and you beat them (guys who do it all the time) my take on your facts was that you beat some huge competition - so i just figured Id throw in my facts for all the WV readers. Its not a slam on you...shoot, I hope you keep winning...it just creates more excitement and involvement because there were guys there watching last night with trucks like yours that said "if he can do -so can I"
More trucks = better pulls.

Have fun on vacation and while you are lounging around on the beach dream of good hook

Someone throw some pull dates down our way for the next few weeks we would come North if noone wants to come South.

Sorry...didn't see you. That was my brothers 04.5 truck which popped #5 injector. I was hauling it to the dealership for service. I just got home 4am Saturday morning & am going to go pick the truck up from the dealer & take it down to Advanced Diesel Technology to have a SS62/65, ATS manifold, boots & Southbend DD3250 installed. You will see my brother at the pulls for sure. As far as I am concerned....if I beat my brother at the pulls....I don't care if I come in last place. Houndawg....you pulling at the hole? Do they allow dually trucks?

The rules don't say you can't run a dually, come to think of it, I've seen guys pulling duallie's there a couple of times this season.
