Has anyone ever hooked to a horse?

My buddy was telling me that he hooked to 2 Clydesdale last year and couldn't move 'em.

I told him it was cruel to do that, but he insisted that they were used on the farm and to make money in special truck night contests...

So, do other people do this?

Does it hurt the horse?

Man, 1 horsepower and like 1500+ ft lbs...

Bull, you can't make a constant pull with a horse. No way. The horses don't have constant traction. And Clydesdales do not weigh that much, to just be inmovable.

Clydesdales are noted for their rugged grace and versatility; they are strong yet amiable animals exceeding 18 hands (1.8 meters or 6 feet) in height and over one ton (2,000 pounds) in weight. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://video.google.com/url?docid=42...MmxI1UOUUdppQQIts a great video about them from Budweiser<(not to advertise).
A good team can pull a great amount, the Budweiser wagon isn't exactly light.
