well i hooked my truck to the sled last night. didnt do very well tried a 3rd 4lo launch but it just seemed to spin so tried 2nd lo started pulling till it lost traction again spin tires most of the way. this was all in a sandy spot then bout 100 ft down i was told it got hardpacked. everybody said the track was awful last night. i couldnt see the pulls after me but accordin to others they didnt get much farther if any then me. oh well it was my first time i plan to hook again and maybe be able to pull better. once i get some tricks down.

 

Hey man, I live in Lexington too. Where are they doing pulls this weekend? I heard maybe in Danville?

 

they were in nicholasville last night and tonight. thinking bout going tonight and givin myself another shot. if i dont do decent tonight i think ill just give up pulling.

from what i hear most people are saying that was the worst pull of the yr. the track was awful. u would know iwould pick the worst pull to hook. nobody made it down the track just two trucks.

 

I wouldn't sweat it, Nicholasville screws everything up.

Seems like someone told me they were doing pulls in Boyle Co. at the fair. I've been to a couple of those and they seem to know what they are doing, it might be worth looking into as another option. It's only 20-25 minutes fron Nicholasville.
