Thanks Johnson. Yes That Third Gener Has Been Chopped A Couple Feet. I Think B Dog Told Me They Were Going To Put A Half-ton Pickup Shortbox On It. I Also Called B Dog When They Dyno'd The Beast And Right After The Show Was Filmed On Jan 13.
The Truck Made 815 Hp And 1490 Ft/lbs. The Charts Will Be On The Hts Website Shortly. I Could Not Understand Half Of What They Were Telling Me On My Cell Phone Because They Were Laughing Like School Girls, Other Than To Say I Have To See This Truck Doing 4-wheel Burnouts Off The Line For 300 Feet. Wouldn't Doubt It With Those Tires But They Could Have Been Embeloshing A Tad In The Moment Of Victory. The Air Times Will Be On The Site As Soon As We Know For. Btw, The Block, Head, T-case, And Radiator Or Corked.

I just found out from my friend at Bully Dog last night.

 

Just bringing this back up to remind everyone that is looking forward to the show. Tomorrow night is the night,the show will air at 9:30ET.
A quick Google search brought up that he Bill Bonadio will be racing a 1988 Chevy S-10.

So we'll have to watch on Wednesday night to see what gasser truck they won for destroying their diesel. Sounds more like a promotional stunt than an unscripted drag race.

 

Thay won a 1988 Chevy S-10,you can see the front end in the picture pposted above, it is gold. I am guessing is has a different front clip.

For those of you who want to see the truck in person, It will be at the TS Outlaw Challenge in Bowling Green KY 6/10/06. It should be competing in the prostreet class.

 

Show was great!! haha.....Corny thanks to Rich, but it was great! UM...did anyone note that the 1st 2 races.....they didn’t spool up the turbos? BUT the last 2......A bit more smoke at the start! HUM.....i think they were playing a bit as well! BUT its good to see a diesel get some props.........Did anyone hear the FASS 150 running when they pushed it upto the line???
