DD clutch from Kenny's pulling parts and machine?

I know one of you guys are running one of his clutches (seen your post the other day). Are any others running one of Kenny's clutches?
How well are they holding up? Can one be had to fit my '95 w/ NV4500 and 1 1/4" input shaft? I hope I don't have to spend $800+ for a larger IPS.
I shot him an email, but he forgot to answer some of my questions. He did say that the street version will hold up to pulling and that they both (street and pulling versions) used ceramic pucks for friction material. Street version has 2850-3000 plate load, and the puller has 3650 plate load.

I think this'll be a great upgrade over my stock clutch (it's goin south), and isn't a whole lot more than a SB FE 1.25.
I just thought I'd get some input from you guys.

A couple things to remember, 1. you get what you pay for
2. It doesn't have enough real world testing
3. Break that little input shaft and you will be spending alot more

Get the bigger input shaft.
Ask about a warranty and after the sale service for that clutch.

i snaped off the 1 1/4" input at 411 rwhp, spend the money once and be done with it. i run a southbend dual disk, 12 puck per plate with a 3600 plate load. and i just put in the 6 speed to get away from the 4500.

Kenny Smith's clutches are starting to get a lot more exposure.

The boy that pulled the ford backwards @ IRP (the famous 'net video) was running a Kenny Smith pulling clutch. Mainly boys in KY are running that clutch right now since that's where Kenny is based and word is just starting to get out.

I know of a couple of guys running his clutch, and I believe they are members here so I will try and get them to respond. I haven't driven one, but I've watched them pull and they are just as competitive as the others. Its even quieter than my SBC!

i have had 2 southbend dual disks, and i have to admit the first one was pretty noisy, the second one has got all the upgrades and it is not near as noisy as the first one.

Did I say I was worried about it? No

I used the "" face to show I was "surprised" it was quieter than my SBC.

When Rodney (Rods) pulled up I beside me at the last pull I just barely detected the hint of center plate rattle......and he has a 4" straightpipe dumping before the rear axle.

For a DD that doesn't have a strapped floater plate its very hard to hear even from just a couple of feet away. That's all I was trying to say. I don't care how loud my DD is. In fact I *LOVE* the looks I get when I push in my peddle and people have no idea what it is.

1st week I had it I had 4 or 5 people tell me my pilot bearing was bad. Including my fiance's father. He's a been a shade tree mech. all his life and he's very good at it too. Was funny to explain it to him. My father hates the sound of it also, he thinks somethings wrong if it sounds that way.
