What are some common points of failure for pulling trucks?

head gasket / studs
u-joints
differential

-TC or clutch slipping and overheating to the point of no return
-Spider gears
-tailshaft on t-case in the 2nd gens, 3rd gens are pretty strong
-u-joint at the rear pinion- very common when there are no ladder bars on the truck
-axle shafts
-pinion shaft or ring and pinion breaking together
-intercooler boots exploding
-driveshaft tube twisting

I have blown intercooler boots,destroyed a new 3850 dual disk in 4 pulls,broke two sets of hardened axle shafts for a Dana 80. that is all so far this year
