I thought about Owensville but to pull in the street diesel you have to have loops on the driveshafts so I'm gonna stay close to home.

I'm wouldn't let a thing like driveshaft loops stop you, you should call DHRA and see what they say.

I'll definetly be in owensville tonight and saturday night. I live about 25-30 miles from there. They are gonna have a local diesel class tonight for people that live in gasconade county only tonight and then tomorrow night is the DHRA pull.

It's on the north side of town, I think it's J hwy, It's just around the corner from where Lewis Implement used to be. It's a Shriner pull, on Buddy Garners place.

you gotta join up as a member before they'll let you pull in a dhra pull which is a crock if ya ask me. they should let you hook once without joining. Gwoody you thinkin about tryin your luck at owensville??? and what are the requirements of being in the work stock???? i may qualify for that one.

It's not that bad Pack...

DieselPower! Sled Pulling Series
All participants in DHRA sled pulls must be a DHRA member. If you do not join in advance, your first hook fee will be $45 and will include a membership.

Hook fees for the 2007 season will be $30.

Members who wish to compete for the season championship must purchase a competition endorsement for each desired class; the cost is $150 per endorsement. The endorsement is valid for the 2007 pulling season only.
It's $15 bucks extra for your first hook, but then you get a Diesel Power Magazine sub with it and you automatically are a DHRA member. If you're going that far, what's another $15?

ok i just got off the phone with them. it's $40 to hook if you're not a DHRA member. $30 if you are. the $150 thing is if you want to compete for points. so and it pays $500 to first place and $100 to 6th. and when you pay the $40 you become a member of DHRA. just a little bit of fyi.
